Packaging
Great packaging invites the consumer to try...and buy. Great products allow them to trust...and stay. In other words, a customer is far more likely to try a well designed packaged product because of the packaging, and stay because of the great product. However, a great product's chances of even being chosen will drop dramatically with poorly designed packaging.
In the highly competitive market place just getting a consumer to notice your product can be difficult. You want your packaging to "jump off the shelf", to catch the consumer's eye, to invite them to try.
